Getting Started as a Coach
Welcome to Court Coach Pro! This guide will walk you through setting up your coaching profile and getting discovered by tennis students.
Creating Your Account
To get started:
- Visit the coach signup page
- Enter your email and create a password
- Verify your email address
- Complete your profile setup
Profile Essentials
A complete profile helps students find and connect with you. Here’s what to include:
About You
- Professional photo: A clear, friendly headshot builds trust
- Bio: Share your background, coaching philosophy, and what makes you unique
- Experience: Years coaching, playing history, and notable achievements
Credentials
- Certifications: PTR, USPTA, or other coaching certifications
- Training: Relevant education or specialized training
- Associations: Professional memberships
Coaching Details
- Skill levels: Which levels you teach (beginner, intermediate, advanced)
- Specialties: Your areas of expertise (serve, footwork, match strategy, etc.)
- Lesson types: Private, semi-private, group lessons, clinics
- Rates: Your hourly pricing
Adding Your Locations
Tell students where you teach:
- Go to your dashboard
- Navigate to “Locations” or “Where I Teach”
- Add the tennis venues where you offer lessons
- You can add multiple locations
Setting Up Contact Methods
Choose how students can reach you:
- Contact form: Receive messages through your profile
- Email: Display your email address
- Phone: Show your phone number
- Website: Link to your personal coaching website
Going Live
Once your profile is complete:
- Review all your information for accuracy
- Make sure your profile visibility is set to “Public”
- Your profile will appear in the coach directory
- Students can now find and contact you!
Tip: Complete profiles with photos and detailed information get significantly more inquiries. Take time to make your profile stand out!
