Managing Your Profile

Keep your profile up-to-date to attract more students. Here’s how to manage every aspect of your coaching profile.

Accessing Your Profile

To edit your profile:

  1. Log in to your coach account
  2. Go to your Dashboard
  3. Click “Edit Profile” or navigate to the specific section you want to update

Profile Photo

A professional photo makes a big difference. Tips for a great profile photo:

  • Use a clear, high-quality image
  • Smile and look approachable
  • Tennis attire or a tennis court background works well
  • Avoid group photos or heavily filtered images
  • Square format works best (the image will be cropped to a circle)

Your Bio

Your bio is your chance to connect with potential students. Include:

  • Your story: How you got into tennis and coaching
  • Coaching philosophy: Your approach to teaching
  • What makes you unique: Your specialties or teaching style
  • Student success: Types of students you’ve helped (without naming names)

Credentials & Certifications

Add your professional qualifications:

  • PTR, USPTA, or other certifications
  • Tennis-related education or degrees
  • Playing achievements (rankings, titles)
  • Years of coaching experience

Rates & Availability

Be clear about your pricing and schedule:

  • Hourly rate: Your base rate for private lessons
  • Package pricing: If you offer discounts for multiple lessons
  • Group rates: Different pricing for semi-private or group lessons
  • Availability: General times you’re available for lessons

Specialties & Skill Levels

Help students understand what you offer:

  • Skill levels taught: Beginner, intermediate, advanced, or all
  • Age groups: Juniors, adults, seniors
  • Specialties: Serve, volleys, footwork, mental game, competition prep
  • Lesson types: Private, semi-private, group, clinics

Contact Information

Choose how students can reach you. You can enable multiple options:

  • Contact form (messages come to your email)
  • Direct email display
  • Phone number
  • Link to your website

Best practice: Review and update your profile regularly. Seasonal changes in availability, new certifications, or updated rates should be reflected promptly.
