Keep your profile up-to-date to attract more students. Here’s how to manage every aspect of your coaching profile.
Accessing Your Profile
To edit your profile:
- Log in to your coach account
- Go to your Dashboard
- Click “Edit Profile” or navigate to the specific section you want to update
Profile Photo
A professional photo makes a big difference. Tips for a great profile photo:
- Use a clear, high-quality image
- Smile and look approachable
- Tennis attire or a tennis court background works well
- Avoid group photos or heavily filtered images
- Square format works best (the image will be cropped to a circle)
Your Bio
Your bio is your chance to connect with potential students. Include:
- Your story: How you got into tennis and coaching
- Coaching philosophy: Your approach to teaching
- What makes you unique: Your specialties or teaching style
- Student success: Types of students you’ve helped (without naming names)
Credentials & Certifications
Add your professional qualifications:
- PTR, USPTA, or other certifications
- Tennis-related education or degrees
- Playing achievements (rankings, titles)
- Years of coaching experience
Rates & Availability
Be clear about your pricing and schedule:
- Hourly rate: Your base rate for private lessons
- Package pricing: If you offer discounts for multiple lessons
- Group rates: Different pricing for semi-private or group lessons
- Availability: General times you’re available for lessons
Specialties & Skill Levels
Help students understand what you offer:
- Skill levels taught: Beginner, intermediate, advanced, or all
- Age groups: Juniors, adults, seniors
- Specialties: Serve, volleys, footwork, mental game, competition prep
- Lesson types: Private, semi-private, group, clinics
Contact Information
Choose how students can reach you. You can enable multiple options:
- Contact form (messages come to your email)
- Direct email display
- Phone number
- Link to your website
Best practice: Review and update your profile regularly. Seasonal changes in availability, new certifications, or updated rates should be reflected promptly.
